We biked in on the Katy Trail on Saturday morning and really enjoyed the food and service. Even though it was late morning Dotty cooked us breakfast. A great mid morning stop between Rocheport and Jeff City.
Phenomenal: homemade. strawberry/rhubarb pie and ice cream.
Stopped for breakfast before hiking at Hart Creek consevation area. Nothing to complain about as I had the meat lovers omelet with a pancake on the side. I left more than full:-)
Did a 50 mile round trip bike ride from Columbia to Hartsburg just to check this place out, and was not disappointed. The decor and staff were both amazing and welcoming. The food was fantastic too; the desserts looked great, but I wasn't able to try any since I had to bike back. Highly recommend.

My husband and I stopped for an evening meal at Dottys after bicycling the Katy Trail. Their hours are 4-7:30pm. We ordered the specials: chicken fried steak and chicken alfredo. Both were great. They even had a large fresh basil leaf on the alfredo.
