We pulled in off the Katy Trail following signs for live music. Not only did we get to see our friends playing music, but they were also offering free hayrides on weekends in October, and in the middle of the hayride, we got to stop and pick our own pumpkins for free, all courtesy of the Claysville Store. We didn't know anything about the place when we pulled in, but the man driving the hayride tractor told us all about its history. I've also heard it's best if you have a reservation if you want to eat!
Great food, Great service, Great atmosphere! We love this place! The owner even makes rounds to make sure his guests are satisfied! If you haven't been here, check it out!
The food is excellent - real comfort food. Servings are very generous. Atmosphere relaxing.
Great home cooked food! They clearly have mastered fried chicken and country ham and the desserts were to die for. We had great service and both owners stopped by our table to see how things were going and thank us for coming in.
